Cucumber Mint Artisan Soap is handcrafted with fresh cucumber purée, creamy yogurt, French green clay, castor oil, and a thoughtful blend of other skin-loving oils. Together, these ingredients create a beautifully balanced bar with a creamy, bubbly lather.

French green clay gives the soap its natural earthy color and helps gently cleanse away everyday impurities, while cucumber purée and yogurt add a soft, creamy quality to the lather. Garden cucumber is blended with the scent of freshly cut mint leaves for an incredibly fresh and clean fragrance. Each bar is finished with dried peppermint grown in my own garden.

Caring for Your Soap

To help your soap last longer, allow it to dry fully between uses. Keep it on a well-draining soap dish and away from standing water or a constant stream of water.

A Note About Lye

Sodium hydroxide, commonly known as lye, is necessary to make real soap. During the soapmaking process, it reacts with the oils through a process called saponification, transforming them into soap and glycerin. No lye remains in the finished, properly cured bar.
