Coconut milk adds to the bar’s wonderfully creamy lather, while avocado oil and shea butter give it a rich, silky feel. Pure sweet orange essential oil provides a bright, cheerful citrus scent that complements the natural warmth of the bar.

Each soap is finished with dried chrysanthemums and lemon balm, adding a beautiful final touch inspired by the garden.

Caring for Your Soap

To help your soap last longer, allow it to dry fully between uses. Keep it on a well-draining soap dish and away from standing water or a constant stream of water.

A Note About Lye

Sodium hydroxide, commonly known as lye, is necessary to make real soap. During the soapmaking process, it reacts with the oils through a process called saponification, transforming them into soap and glycerin. No lye remains in the finished, properly cured bar.
